Saying YES to Jesus is the best decision you will ever make. Not only does it affect your life now, but it affects your life forever! We hope that you find this information helpful. 

Since the beginning, God created mankind intending to have a close relationship with us. In the story of Adam and Eve, we learn that they had a personal relationship with God, but decided to do things their own way. This broke their relationship with God and created a separation between mankind and God. 

This separation is called sin. It is the act of rebellion against the will of God, a refusal to trust God’s good intentions for us. To this day, we as mankind still suffer the effects of this broken relationship.

God loves us so much, that He could not leave this relationship broken forever. He did His part to restore our broken relationship with Him. He sent His son Jesus to die for our sins, His free gift. Now He waits for each of us to personally accept His free gift of salvation. God desires that all would know Him and His great plan for our lives.

DO YOU DESIRE TO KNOW GOD IN A PERSONAL WAY? HERE'S ONE WAY THAT INTRODUCTION COULD CONTINUE

Step 1: REALIZE
Realize that there is a problem called sin that has separated us from God. Confess that you are a sinner and need God’s forgiveness.
1 JOHN 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Step 2: BELIEVE
Believe that God sent His son Jesus as a solution to the problem. He died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and is alive today.
Romans 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
1 Thessalonians 4:14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.

Step 3: ACCEPT

Accept God’s free gift of Salvation. Understand that we cannot earn it, but we can accept it by believing in who Jesus is and what He did to save us.

Ephesians 2: 8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works so that no one can boast.

Step 4: INVITE

You invite Jesus into your heart and ask Him to be Lord of your life.

John 1:12-13 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

Revelation 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

You can take these steps by praying this prayer of commitment to God:

“Dear Heavenly Father, I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now confess you by faith as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Did you know that every time someone gets reconnected to God there is a celebration in heaven?! We are celebrating too! We would love to help you as you begin your new life with Jesus! This is a BIG step, but it is only the beginning of your relationship with God. Just like any relationship, it requires attention to develop and grow.

  • Read your bible daily
  • Talk to God in prayer daily
  • Share your story about Jesus with others
  • Join a community of fellow Christians 
  • Live a life that demonstrates your love for God and His people
